1965 Hamilton Accumatic A-605

The Hamilton Accumatic A-605 was part of Hamilton’s mid-1960s Accumatic line. These pieces were automatic, everyday-wearable watches that mixed American design with practical Swiss engineering. This particular example, dating to 1965 is dressed in a gold-plated case with a sharp silver crosshair dial, applied baton indices, and gold-toned hands that feel both formal and modernist. An otherwise minimalist design with a touch of architectural structure

Beyond aesthetics, this watch carries a meaningful backstory. It was presented to Chief J.J. Perko of the Rockport, MA Police Department in honor of his service from 1935 to 1967 — with a deeply engraved caseback marking the occasion.

An understated Hamilton that wears effortlessly and carries both mechanical but also personal history.
